Caprese Bunny Crostinis



Caprese Bunny Crostinis:


  • 1 Baguette or loaf of French Bread

  • Olive oil

  • Pesto

  • 2 Mozzarella Balls, sliced

  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella pearls, halved

  • Black sesame seeds

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes

  • Fresh Basil leaves

 

Heat oven to 380 degrees Fahrenheit, & line a sheet pan with foil. Slice your loaf into ~1/4”-1/2” thick sections for a Baguette, & 1/2”-3/4” for French bread. Place slices onto the lined baking sheet, & brush with olive oil. Bake the slices for ~10 minutes, or until golden & crispy. Remove bread from oven & let cool at least 10 minutes. 


Using a circular form, cut and shape your mozzarella slices into desired sizes. Slice cherry tomatoes in half at an angle, then half again to form either a heart or egg shape. Spread pesto onto each bread slice, then assemble the bunny body with Mozzarella, black sesame seeds for the face, garnish with a basil leaf & tomato heart/egg - & be hoppy!
