Homemade Tortillas




Homemade Tortillas:                                                                                                                       


·         1 & ½ cup flour

·         ½ tsp. salt

·         ½ tsp. baking powder

·         ½ cup warm water

·         3-4 tbsp. olive oil

 

In a medium-sized bowl, mix together dry ingredients. Add in olive oil, & slowly add in warm water while mixing.


Dump dough onto a lightly floured surface & knead for ~3 minutes. Divide & shape into palm-sized balls, cover, & let rest for 15 minutes.


Roll each ball out thinly & pan ‘fry’ on high heat for about 45 seconds each side.

Cover with a kitchen towel to keep soft & warm & enjoy!
